Grape fruits contain valuable sugars, pectins, vitamins A, B1, B2, C, tannin, tartaric and gallic acids and resveratrol from a cosmetic point of view.
Resveratrol has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-swelling effects and delays the aging process. On the other hand, sugars, thanks to their hygroscopic properties, protect the epidermis against water loss and strongly moisturize. Numerous fruit acids present in the flesh have a mild exfoliating effect, and also regulate the secretion of sebum. Polyphenols, i.e. primarily flavonoids and the aforementioned resveratrol, protect the skin against external factors and free radicals, moisturize and support the absorption of other ingredients.
The grape hydrolate has an additional anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effect, and the vitamins it contains have a positive effect on improving skin tone.
